Senior Chemist/Laboratory Manager

Education Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Experience Required: 5 years practical laboratory, chemical handling, and manufacturing experience Job Duties: Maintain lab notebook and job orders, Chemical manufacturing, Analyze and test products to ensure purity/specifications are met, Set up and run chemical reactions, Supervise the handling and disposal of Hazardous waste, Consolidate waste and move to satellite accumulation areas Delegate jobs to lab techs and junior chemists to ensure jobs get done and with following proper procedures, Teach and advise junior chemists and lab techs on new procedures for on-going training. Package materials for shipment.
