Metal Alkoxides are inorganic compounds composed of a metal atom or ion bound to one or more alkoxide groups, which are derived from alcohols. They are often used as precursors for the synthesis of metal oxides and other metal-containing compounds including thin films by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or atomic layer deposition (ALD). In addition, metal alkoxides can be used as catalysts for a variety of reactions, such as polymerization and esterification.
