Applications of Beta-Diketonates
Several of our newly launched beta-diketonate compounds are actively used in advanced materials processes. Copper(II) Acetylacetonate has proven effective as a precursor for atomic layer deposition (ALD) of Cu2O thin films, which are used in photovoltaics, water splitting, and thin-film transistors due to their high hole mobility and wide bandgap properties. Vanadium (IV) oxyacetylacetonate is employed in sol-gel and spin-coating techniques to fabricate thermochromic VO2 films for smart window coatings and optical switching devices, offering reversible semiconductor-to-metal phase transitions.
